Step 1: Measure the height of your flooring to make sure the correct profile is purchased.
Step 2: Measure the width of the doorway and note the size down.
Step 3: Mark the threshold at the same size as the doorway.
Step 4: Cut the threshold down with a hacksaw at the mark you measured previously.
Step 5: Press the threshold into position. Make sure no underlay goes under the threshold.
Step 6: Fix to the floor with either screws for a wood subfloor, or mastic adhesive for a concrete floor.
Step 7: Put the carpet into position then tuck the edge of the carpet into the threshold, some excess carpet may have to be removed with a stanley knife or scissors.

Step 3: Measure and mark your threshold and base section at the same size of the doorway.
Step 4: Double check your measurements by aligning the threshold and base sections with the doorway.
Step 5: Place the base section into position approximately 5-10mm away from the edge of your wood floor.
Step 6: Fix the base section to the sub floor using screws (wooden subfloor) or a mastic adhesive (concrete floor)
Step 7: Align the door threshold with the base section and push it down until you feel it click into place.
Step 8: Took carpet into the rebated section.
